Cheapest unit. Can capture bases. +3 vision when on mountains.

As the price no doubt tells you, the Infantry are by far the most basic unit in the game. They are only good for pitting against enemy Infantry, but the fact that they can capture properties (Bases, Cities and HQs), makes them essential.
Many find that their ability to traverse rivers and mountains, along with their improved vision up mountains, can be very useful at times.
Infantry unit. High mobility. Able to capture bases.

A brand new unit that has been thrown into the mix, this time around.
With their high mobility, coupled with the ability like other Infantry units to capture properties, Motorbikes will no doubt throw up some new and interesting strategies.
One thing for sure, the old Mech rushes won't be jumped onto as quickly... not when there's the opportunity to cover a map in no time.

Specialised anti air. Can also attack ground units.

Having received a price drop from previous games, these will undoubtedly appear more in Dark Conflict. Useful for firing through rampaging Infantry of varying sorts... not to mention their ability to either shoot an air unit out of the sky, or essentially weaken one so much, that it poses no risk whatsoever.
Light Tank unit. Good mobility makes it useful on the battlefield.

With good mobility and good firepower due to the tank cannon, the versatile Tank can hold it's own against a wide range of land units.
Unfortunately, air units tend to be able to pick upon it with ease, considering that only a weak retaliation can be given by the secondary machine gun.

Reinforced tank. Attack and defence superior to standard tank.

Heavy Tanks pretty much do what their name suggests - they're tanks, but they hit home a lot heavier.
Due to them being larger, they're slightly less mobile, with slightly less vision and one less round of tank cannon fire than normal tanks... but they really will pack a heavier punch than their younger cousins.
Indirect attack unit. Only capable of striking air targets.

The only land-based indirect unit aimed at air units.
The Missile unit, although very limited with what it can fire upon, is more than potent when aimed at it's targets. A full health Missile unit could easily bring down an entire Interceptor unit with ease.
Alas, their downfall is their lack of direct defence, both from air based attacks, and land based attacks. A standard tank could ruin a Missile unit with one hit in most circumstances, and this should always be taken into account when using this unit.
